Clearly you've got a pretty patient approach to rendering, that's good. I'm not sure the way you chose to render the hand for example is really best for such an organic form - the palm area for example seems to have a very regular hatching pattern. The pencil drawings could probably benefit from making your strokes somewhat bolder (how soft a pencil are you using?) and using a more systematic approach to the direction of your strokes. The barrel picture is a good example, your strokes don't always work to emphasize the form. Generally speaking the forms are good, but you lose something in the rendering... I prefer the sketchier version of the drawing of the phone and game controller for example. Try to be confident with your strokes. I struggle with that a lot myself, but sometimes things snap into place. Don't go over and over your lines, try to keep them clean.
Actually, looking at the cars, you have good linework there. I probably am not the one to give you advice in that area... |
