Okay...first off - excuse my general stupidity when it comes to computers and digital art programs. I know virtually nothing about either, so I tend to come off dumb. XD
Anyways, the question I want to ask is~
How do you make it to where when you're coloring a picture on openCanvas, the color you're using doesn't cover the lineart?
I hope that made sense...I'm in the process of learning how to CG, but I can't because I don't know how to make it so that the color doesnt go over the lineart.
Thanks in advance for any help :3

Using a layer would be a best bet. All versions of openCanvas have layers, so just put the lineart in a higher level layer than the color work, and you're home free.
