I've been watching x-files since the beginning and I think the show is excellent. As far as next season is concerned, Duchovny will be on the show for 11 episodes and Patrick will be there for all. I think he will be a cool addition to the cast. Of course the series can never be the same with one of the two main characters gone.

I am looking foward to finding out what Patrick's charaster's agenda is. Mulder was after aliens for the longest time but his interest in them hs dwindled.

I think Scully's character will remain the same.. skeptical and only willing to accept fact most of the time.

I even thought that Carter might form a relationship between Patrick and Scully. Who knows......

I'm also looking foward to that new series. It's called dark angel I think.
