Freebooter, Synnical, Sparth, Kinnas, buzzz3d, Osto: Nice work you better keep 'em coming!

I was inspired by the Freebooter's "Coming back to one of my oldest work." WIP.

Original by Freebooter

My version

thanks again

sparth, that's a nice one

Trying out some new brushes and the less saturated statement.
Wc's are not easily forgiving and mistakes have to be covered or erased.

Matthew.

this isn't really a speedpaint, but I wanted to post to throw some props at ax/hv, watmough, igino, and sparth. You guys are kicking my butt over here. And stewart one, I like that forest scene. You've improved a lot.

edit: forgot to mention that this is based on pencils by a guy named Jose Saenz. Same dude I worked with on those Halloween-themed theatrical posters.

Igino, the last one is real opium for my eyes!
I don't know any other digital artist out there have your sense of unusual color and saturation.
To paint colors more or less as they are in life is not as hard - a lot of people can paint this way, but to see someone stretching the limits is a rare pleasure and you can't even find such paintings on goodbrush.com.

inspired by your clouds, but by far not as good - i have to learn a lot.

Edit (another try):

ebr: yeah, she's a litte off. nice moody. is this artrange or painter?

Duracel: Thanks! But since I always use false-colors I'm kinda struggle with daylight situations. down there I gave it a try, but the skin colors turned out much too pink ... no ref

krichmond: second one looks very nice

Good point, igino Wink
Think you have just to paintover the lit part of the man in front - just less saturation ... and well, i guess its even too dark. So i don't think the "pink color" is your problem in here - as Mullins said sometimes ago, if something is bugging you about a picture, in 99% of the time its not color!

Just another try to get clouds right:

Igino, geez! youre too good.

I forgot the face. Nah, i didnt forget, but getting a female face right is so hard to me. Id need ten hours more to get it right and this wouldnt be a speedie anymore then. Ref used of course.
