always had this weird problem where on first load, photoshop doesn't usually read my pen tablet's pressure sensitivity - sometimes switching between programs fixes it, but sometimes not. any ideas?

I get that problem sometimes too. It seems to only happen in photoshop. To fix it I close out the program, then open up Wacom Tablet Properties. After I close the properties then open up photoshop again the issue is fixed. |

I just click any other program from taskbar and it solves it. If that doesn't help, close PS and open it again. Works for me |

if you open photoshop and then alt+tab to another app or click on another app, PS fails to recognise the wacom..
goto control panel-admin-services and stop and then start the wacom service |

Have you installed the upgrade to 7.01?
I believe that addressed the problem, along with a few others.
I run an old Intuos on one PC, and an Intous 2 on the other, and don't have any problems. _________________ Life is short. Expect nothing, enjoy everything.
