Watmough: U got me inspired to try the Wc...
I didn't take your advice and bought cheapy paper... Maybe thats why it has no tooth and was really difficult to manage. I pm'd you some more conversational junk... Smile

Matthew, I luv the witch... I always imagined them with creepy nose/masks like that too and really beautiful underneath.

Weirdowe > I like the Girl!
dr_torski > hehe, the smoking bear rocks!!!
Phil > Good colors, and the creature is very well draw. Done in Painter?!

buzzz3d> thanks!,Im happy you like it! Your watercolor is excellent. You captured in a perfect way the texture of the walls and wood of the house. Working with watercolors its very difficult.

gizmodus> The ambience and the creature are excellent!

From imagination...

Matthew: thanks! I like how you render the blade on that one.
annisahmad: wow!
watmough: are those done from life? very impressive.
igino: very dynamic!
buzzz3d: thanks, as I have noticed, my anatomy tends to wander all over the place when I render them with blobs rather than lines, hehe.

hi here's a few speed paints I tried last week... trying to wrap my head around painting digitally. Used PS on the ghostpirate, and Painter on the other... painters brushes ROCK!! Q.. do most pros work on several layers... or stick to one layer? .. they seem great at first .. but things get wacky REAL fast working with them!! Shocked

Whew! Great stuff everyone.
Been busy packing my things up to move later this week. Gonna be hard to paint when my computer is packed away... it'll be the last thing to go.

I don't know what this crapfest is...

Wonderful work everyone.

Not really a speed painting (although it should be Confused ). I am just too slow. Also, it looks super crap when I shrink it imo.

My values are all messed up.

It's been a while, the thread is going strong as ever. I've enjoyed catching up with it, great stuff, lots of improvement going on!

Just a nice, gentle, calm image to settle back in with.

I am getting a bit more control of these water colors. But still, the fountain and water has to be re-thought. the bums that were talking to me started to get really old. My concentration was destroyed. I don't want to be mean to people but I just don't understand why they think they can talk to you and ask you questions while your trying to paint. sigh.
