Was bored tonight, I know its not much compared to the experienced digital's here on Sijun, but the feedback from my other hangouts wasnt helpful at all. I need actual feedback not smoke squarely blown up an orafice.
Danke, lol.
EDIT: That bunny is the beast's Conscience, just as a side note, lol.
I found it humorous |

I think the manwolfbeast is pretty well drawn, and you've created a believable sense of the ground with how you done the hands and feet.
I like the way you fused man and beast with the curved back and hunched legs.
The beast's head could be more nasty and menacing maybe? Like an evil dog, less like whinnie the poo's friend, kanga
Mainly, i think the rendition is hard to understand. Hard to crit because it's not clear what your intentions are. |

Please no offense on this critique.. please don't take any.. but the pose at which the beast looks to be in looks like my dog taking a dump in the backyard..
It's a decent start but I would probably pick a front angle or more dynamic pose for the beast. _________________ .::astrochimp.net::. |

Damnit, I was afraid of that, Alright, I'll have to lower the leg and change the posture just a bit, I had that feeling in the back of my head and I was like "I hope noone else thinks that too" lol
Alright, I'll get on changing it |

and update
Lowered the leg and made multiple tweaks overall.
Looks less like he's 'squatting' lol I hope anyway.
EDIT: I just noticed when I flipped the image the question mark over the bunny's head didnt stay normal...
*shoot self in the face as punishment* I'll go fix that, lol |

I was working on a paintover... and then I got horribly sidetracked...
.
.
.
at any rate... the problem is all in the curve of the back and the angle of the tail.... _________________ HonePie.com

Don't be discouraged. Just keep practicing your drawing skills until you perfect that...it's the first step to all of visual arts (besides dancing) from sculpture to oil to watercolor, what you need is excellent drawing skills, to percieve form and shape and curvature to the most minute detail. Try that first, before jumping quickly to color.
My art teacher says to me...what her art teacher told her..if you do only blockins for a month, it will shave ten years off of your education. Word to the wise. I've done it to a certain extent and noticed a difference. Fast progression.
Drawing is the most important skill first, before value (shading) and before color (chroma, brightness, hue)
We've all been there.

eyewoo nailed it with his short comment, when you arch the back of a doglike creature like that and squatt its knees, the this is dumping a missile, I see it everyday walking my dog. And adding the bunny to it just makes even more absurd, but i ahve a great idea: you could sidetrack on this one and make it so the dogthing craps out the bussy, "conscience is just crap" could be the title, I'd find that extremely amusing and eventhough you might want something serious, just forget it. We want bunny-crap _________________ DeadbeaT was here |
