Which one of those CD-Rs is Maya? Embarassed

( just joking!!! )

I like the dual TFT setups that people seem to be working with. Just got my refund for my last TFT, hopefully going to be a bit more thorough when choosing the next one.

I wish I could say it isn't always that messy. And yes, it is a big desk. That's a 21" trinitron on the left.

...Woo....? The inside of my computer glows red, but you can't see it. His name is Bob. Yes, he has a name, shut up. *huggles Bob* Wink

I think perhaps the worst absence from this image is that of a tablet. *sigh* Ah well, someday... Rolling Eyes

Bob is under my desk, right-hand side. Wink

And yes, those post-it notes and little pieces of paper work as my phonebook, lol. And the ones above my screen are usually "to do" lists or art ideas.

And the tablet absense is because I don't own one. Crying or Very sad

Was trying to find that thread with 'views outside your window' ... cant find it .. so i'll just post this here .. =]

thats what i see when i look out my window every night .. it would look nicer if i had a better camera ..

my old camera was good ...
now all i have is this small dummy-digital-camera ... oh well ..

16 floors up and no grills !!

Oh and the area around my block is under construction .. thats why the bottom-most pic looks a mess ...

I'd post a pic of my room but I'm moving in less than a month, so I'll take photos of the new place.

Eyewoo.... can you explain your set-up ? looks so confusing ....

the top most .... monitor .. i think its a monitor... looks like a laptop ... looks like two lap-tops stuck on each other.

and why do some people have dual monitor set-ups for painting ?
(Bob has 4 >_< )

I think he has a laptop plus an extra LCD as a second monitor to keep his palettes on. Why cramp your image with all that interfacey stuff if you can dump it all onto a side monitor?

yeah i'm greedy Smile

laptop is for ICQ,MSN,AIM,Outlook, IRC, FTP other bits and pieces - i control it using a little app called synergy (allows 1 computer to control others - i just swing my mouse to the left and i have control over my laptop via my workstation)

the 2 19's are for Photoshop and Page and Website Layout Design
15 is for testing websites @ 1024x768 (52% of current web users are @ 1024), file managing, Winamp and occasionally i have a film running

getting a couple of hoods for the 19's as the sun is killing me atm.. Sad

Andromeda[*] ... balistic has it right...

In my setup, the top monitor is the drawing/painting area and the bottom monitor is for graphics program resources.
That way the drawing/painting area is totally uncluttered. The cursor moves smoothly from the top monitor to the
bottom monitor when picking up new resources.

Yes, the top monitor is a widescreen laptop. The bottom is a cheapo LCD flat screen. Since it covers the laptop
keyboard, I have a USB keyboard to the left for easy typing and keyboard shortcuts.

The setup works really well and packs up into one small suitcase. Breaks down and sets up in just a few minutes. Less the folding tables, it packs up into the case below which I can carry on to an airplane...

PetriJ:

The one in the picture is bought:
http://www.digitalartform.com/archives/2005/01/ecorche_figure.html
It's very good; I recommend it.

I did make one distantly sort of like it once as part of a course:

and heres what I like most: a huge wall mirror (from a closed gymnasium). It covers one whole wall of my small studio room:
