SO I've been reading about the ps3 and I saw the videos at gamespot. PS3 blows my mind! It's going to destroy xbox 360... but haha honestly I won't get either cause if I did then I would probaly end up playing more games then doing art. Nice to look at though.

fast and crappy just the way I don't like it. yea the ps3 is great.

hm.. and something a little better.

Hands down one of my favs from you. As much as I admire inventive composition, complex lighting, lively textures, and other dazzling stuff, it is simple pictures like this that my heart belongs to. (Wasssup's picture of the little princess sitting does that for me too.)

BTW, have your ears been itching lately? You've been discussed at length here, along with underground rap music: http://www.studioproducts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6170 (the thread reads backwards--first page is the newest)

A lot of inspiring work here! Spooge's red woman is one of my favorites, I love it. I also was impressed by Max Kulich's woman image.
I really like that first city concept Annisahmad. It has a nice freshness to it.
Cool and dynamic water color by zhuzhu, i like a lot of your work.
Cool troll by mon! It reminds me a bit of the film Ronja Roeverdatter Smile and
of course The Dark Crystal...
I also like Retro's water color.
Hey, there's so many other's the list keeps getting longer and longer.
I also like the dynamics in your work Viag!
And I love watmoughs' last one here as well. The combination of black ink and earth tones are pleasing.
There's a lot here! Keep it coming.

I'm new to the speed painting concept, but I quess this falls into the category for me, I had some fun doing this one. No reference used.

Haven't ever rally posted here, I'll try to keep up.

Great Stuff here... damn amazing Some of you. I'll try not to blindly jock, as seems to be the trend.

Octavian - Whats up? I Like the concepts your working out. Nice rich colors. your really starting to pose your guys now, a big improvement. I love the orange. The only thing is maybe rework the jaw/mouth area, it's haveing a perfect "V" look to it rather than the bowed C. Whats this guy for? Just practice? Makes me think Jedi with the costume.

Mon - I really dig the face area with all the brush work going on. Ya, Dark crystal influence there. Or maybe some stuff from the Faeries book. (by brian froud)

I want to comment on more but its going to take me a year to get through 600 pages.

Here's my abuse:

Awesome work everyone!

Bjornar: I love that. The atmosphere is really nice in the distance.

Mon: Shocked

Hey Teyekanik! Good God, its been long enough... glad to have you here.
Thanks for the crits. I will use it for the future. the dude was just practice.
Yeah, the Jock fest, hmmm, not much you can do about it, but I guess to me this thread is more about getting motivation to keep practicing instead of crits.
although, I am glad your here cuz now I'll get crits, which I TOTALLY NEED and WELCOME!!!!!!

Your dude has some really nice grays. But watch out for your edges. His hair is really crisp and it looks strange to me. His right cheek is smashed in too.

But Im one to talk, look at this garbage!!!!! I'm trying to move out of photoshop and into painter, but she's an angry mistriss.
oh, and it must be said that I realized quickly how much this looks like one of blackarts paintings.... so I stopped. F*cking influences Sad
