Sorry you don't like the satured BG colors...It's my tribute to my beloved Stanley Kubrick. a man who understood everything in cinema, specially the credits  it's a direct tribute to Clockwork Orange and his primary lenses colorsbars...  If you notice it, everytime you refresh or go to a other page the BG colors changes....the design of the website have to reflect who the owner is and what it's the purpose and taste in life.
You're right it's very french, due to long years in my mother culture and Belgo-French comic book culture. (I'm Spanish and French).for the story, the logo (the donut, my friends says  ) It's the exact representation of my name:
Arenas: "Place in form of a closed circle made with sand"....for a guy who spend the 12 months of the year creating set and location design for cinema I born with a predestined name (12-dodeca? Den-den)

The speedpainting threads are sticky in the section: "Gallery/Finished Work"
"Sticky" means it stays on top.
