A few quick studies I put together, both of which deserved more love than I gave them. Briscola and Mullins, respectively, both of whom whose work I respect.

Sounds great Matthew. And i'm going to take a pencil and to try to stop being lame in drawing Seriously, yesterday in museum figured out that i can't handle it.
Watmough> i'm eager to look at them, it's allways a pleasure
Started as a study, decided to finish

Much appreciate your feedback guys.
RasselTassel, yea I agree about the mind being messed with. Thank you for your comment, no hiding then.
octavian, hehe thank you and thank you for the tribute.
Capt.Fred, thank you.
ax--hv, thank you. yea drawing is the real tricky and it has to be repeated over and over but after a while it gets addicting.
small part from a painting that is an on-going project of mine
keep it up everyone |

Finished watching Iain McCaig's third Gnomon dvd a moment ago, loved his work ever since the first Monkey Island, later became a huge fan after seeing Darth Maul on the big screen, bought all art of books for the prequels and the films on dvd's just to get another glimpse at his work.. I'm sounding like a fanboy here, oh wait! but I am
Can't wait to see what the third episode holds within!
Here's my take on underwater hair, have to experiment more tomorrow after I've had more time to swallow all the information. Anywayzzz.. here's the pic, better go sleep now so I don't find myself from this exact position 8 hours later keyboard all covered in drool ..

This is compositionally based on a landscape pic I saw in a magazine.

Remade an old concept drawing of mine called "Ghost Special Unit" (heavily inspired by Starcraft obviously), I'll turn it into a finished painting if I can get the colour scheme working.
This was done before army in late 2002 I think.
and the same idea three years and military service later, it did give me new perspective on many things.

Are you sure that's watercolour? Erm... why don't you try acrylic? I don't think watercolours are really meant to be used that way (over black and opaque) _________________ Derelict Studios|Godwin's Space |

Some junk since the place is so quiet. I think I'm developing some bad habits in terms of not finishing image consitancy.

Not really a speedpaint, or even recent - anyone remember this?? I just found it on an old drive. I think it's from 2002! Whoa, whack colors and anatomy.
