This is my contribution to next year's RAINN calendar. You might remember I posted something similar before, but with the wrong dimensions, so I had to do it again. So, yeah, I did it again. Weirdly, it was better the second time. That almost never happens.
Anyway, yeah. It has a rat on it. _________________ Dignity isn't important. It's everything.

Lovely image! I really like it. The rat is so cute : )
Do you chalk out the shapes with pencil before you ink it? |

This is so awesome! Your line art is outstanding.
It's amazing how many unique interpretations of Tori have been accumulated in this project.
When you say that it's your contribution, does that mean you're already in the calendar, or do you still have to get into some sort of "final selection"? If the latter: Shouldn't be a problem with this piece... _________________ "Look...!" protested Arthur.

Thanks for the comments, guys!
Agrajag - Glad you like it! As far as I know, this is the final art for the calendar (should be on the month of November). They do have the right to reject it for any reason, obviously, but I don't THINK that'll happen. (I could be wrong, though. It's happened before.)
ElfGirlKimmy - Thanks very much! Nice to see a fellow rat fan.
Anthony - Thank you!
Matthew - Thanks. I've been diggin' your recent posts, as well.
Max Kulich - Yeah, I put in the main lines and shapes with a pencil first, but I don't put all the details in at that stage. The less crap there is to erase at the end, the better.
the_insider - Thanks--glad you like it! By the way, you were totally right about Spectrum. I asked a bunch of people about it, and, yeah, it said "blow". Go figure.
Andromeda - Don't hit your head, there!
eyewoo - Thanks very much! Hoping to see some new stuff from you soon, too. _________________ Dignity isn't important. It's everything.

I really, really wish I could find a reason not to like, become a total fanboy over this.
But I can't. _________________ QED, sort of. |

That's very nice! It has that Grimmish fairy tale quality and the character(s) looks natural. That's one thing I often find lacking in fantasy art, the characters are designed/posed like somebody took a chainsaw and cut a horse in half and then did the same for a burly man and planted the torso on the horse legs _________________ www.TimoVihola.com
