The hand holding the cigarette seems like the best part to me. The rendering is very fresh. In contrast to that the background is looking quite overdone and the face doesn't quite have the same delicate touch to it. It'll be interesting to see what you make of this.

I like it. Is there a sad face in the smoke to the left? Perhaps a passive smoker.

It might be a matter of personal oppinion, but I do not like the circular brushwork of the background around her head. I do not think it should follow the form of the foreground.
I'd try some diagonal lines along the perspective of the wall.

Yea, I would say that the hand is the best part. Overall the design is good although to me it looks like half of her body is in water >.<

i really dig the hands and the texture but somehow the head against that wall looks really flat...as if her head was the wall...good tho
