very nice use of color, just like inoue's covers.
I dont know about the umbrella though LOL... Japanese umbrella's definetly don't have the HOOK at the bottom of the umbrella like western umbrella's do. at least not during the time of muzashi. It might help to look up some references to Japanese umbrella's i think you could really do some beautiful artwork if you referenced some japanese style umbrella's it looks like you kinda just threw that in there instead of a sword....
last time i checked samurai didnt fight with mary poppin's umbrellas LOL

i think you are right mal, but i like umbrellas and im pretty sure it would loose in a fight. Anyhow, Here is another quicky, about 30 - 45 minutes, oh and i am much aware of the small head issue on this one thats why i added the foliage to kinda take attention away from his long torso and tiny head. i was in a rush on this one, cause i wanted to finish before bed. anyway hope you all still like, even though its funky. ill try harder next time

i completely agree and will soon try that out.
one more. this one i like but something about it bothers me, i cant figure it out though?? about 1h 25 minutes of work here. anyways hope you all like it.

| Whenever i'm working on a potrtait and I attempt to show teeth, it really throws the whole thing off for me. Just a thought on why you might think something is wrong witht he last one. |
