hey zhuzhu, nice stuff as always, but I was just wondering, was the previous piece (and your recent oil-y ones) done in painter or artrage?

Hi everybody. I think I may join you guys, but I would just like to ask any of the pros in here for some advice. I don't know how to start painting in Photoshop without lines. Can any of you help me out here? Some tips? Or even better, a link to a specific tutorial that really answers my question. Oh and, how long of a painting is considered a speed painting?

Thanks!

Exongep, omikun, jedt, levan, thanks! The head is what I wanted, but I need to find more info on the cut of a bodice like that. It has a very specific form.

Not around much with my many new responsibilities. If I have any time for SP, it is a few minutes here and there. Bishop six, I will respond to your discussion thread.

Jose Cheung, I think a SP is a thought that is complete but a client would not accept due to lack of "finish"

too fast?

Haven't seen Dune, but that's a cool cape.

And its cooler to run away from a fire then run across it

EVERYBODY is still my inspiration.

Also started an actually art job, had a kick ass traditional class and STILL get my dose of Sijun daily, muthafugga!! haha.

This sketch is in particular inspired by a chick Francis hooked up a while ago.

1hr 30. no ref

Think I might finish it for this thing Craig Elliot's got goin on...thoughts?

Ugh...still no DSL at home....stupid SBC

Nice work, everybody!

It doesn't look quick...but it is. Most of it is transparent, going towards the background color.
