Semi-referenced stuff, this is a road on the way home from school. Used a photo for details and such, lighting was the same as it was when I took the photo but I mostly took that from memory as my reference was really badly exposed anyway. Changed some stuff about the environment in general as well. |

Cool pic. I like the creativeness. That sign that says "Fuck!" though looks like it's coming out of his shoulder. I assume it is really coming out of the street corner? And that car(?) on the road looks kind of weird. Maybe it's pulling out of a drive but I can't really tell what it is or what it's doing.
Really nice though. The guy is really cool, and i like the hair alot. Hmm...just had another thought. Is that big head in the background the head of a real monster? And he's taking bites out of things? Hmm, if that is the case it took me a while to get it. I thought it was a building, lol. Maybe make it a different color or something? And it's not clear that there is anywhere for his body to be.
Very interesting to say the least, and nicely painted. Cheerio. |

There are some strange scale issues, but I think that actually helps the surreal quality of the entire picture.
Hilarious and strange. I love it. _________________ QED, sort of. |

Mega muffin: the sign is supposed to come out of his shoulder, I kind of wanted to emphasize the artificiality of the speech bubble. And the monster is just a head, it has no body. (think pac-man ghosts)
Impaler: Are there scale issues other than the man being too tall, the car being too large and perhaps the buildings in the background being too tall as well? Those are the ones I know about, if there's more I'd be happy to hear about it. |

Well, I like it, a nice idea and cool light.
My crits would be: the monster isn't very readable (I spent sometime wondering what it was, maybe I'm slow ) and I'm not sure if the reflection on the building is right, seems like it shouldn't be there imo.
About the scale issues, I can't see anything you haven't pointed out already. _________________ "Ever forward, my darling wind." -Master Yuppa

Yeah, basically your guy is too tall for the height and angle of your perspective. Looking at this again, it doesn't look nearly as "weird" as it did when I posted a few days ago. The only thing that really catches my eye is the building on the right; I think it's a little too narrow, and maybe the actual "floors" are too short. _________________ QED, sort of. |
