Just superb, good job John.

(save as..)

neccessary crits to justify the reply:
The motion blur of the propeller looks a tad clean with its sharp edges.
The plane looks bit strange perspective-wise, but maybe that's just me watching too much 3d, so the side view might do it.

Did you have some photo elements there (the sky) , or was it from scratch?

Keep it up, and please post more Smile

Great clouds Flush.

I'm thinking the specular gets a little too white on the nose faring and the canopy.

Can't find much to crit otherwise. One of your strongest pieces, I think.

Yes please!

That's really nice.

As far as crits go I'd suggest a more dynamic path for the P-51. But that's just said to sound semi-clever. There's no REAL crits from me.

Hey Capt Flush,

really nice piece of work ya got there. especially the clouds as everyone else mentioned already, I like how the light gives that nice effect on the ground.

Now with the crits, all I can think of is that the pilot looks too small and child-like. Perhaps I'm wrong though, you would probably know more about me when it comes to aircrafts Smile

What are you up to at the moment? still working as a matte-painter?

That's cool Cap. Gotta love the 190 (although I'm partial to the Ta 152)

Nice blues on the top of the wing.
BTW, don't sweat the swastika. Reasonable people can understand historical context.

wowzers! that's awesome!

Although I have to agree with Mark on the swastika; you should remove the bar for historical accuracies and preservation. It's just history, man; don't try to rewrite it.

Thanx for the crits Mikko K I'm fixing it when I got more time, no its all from scrathc, hehe I'll try tp post more, I got tons to post as soon as the project im working on is finished, *sigh*

Ballistic: thanx I'll fool around with it soon!

Sukhoi, I se what you mean, but for now we'll just pretend theyre flying very fast and can't turn alot haha Razz

Max: I could get you the landscape only if I fiddle around with the layers, but It would look crap I promise hehe.

Tiger 1313, Smile you won't believe how dirty the real plane was

if you look at the fuselage after the exhaust it looks like a dragon puked ashes on it

Notic: hmm, yeah maybe the pilot is a bit small, after all the FW 190 was a very small figher, like many of the other german ones

Mark Harris; cheers! to be honest, I find the Ta 152 copletelly repulsive haha (too long wings and too long nosed, the 190D was as long as I would let it be ahaha)

annisahmad, it took about 10 hrs to paint

all the others: thanx
