just tried the martin planet tutorial.that's a nice one but too boring for me so i decided to blow up the whole thing and add some dust being drawn by some mysterious magnetic field (for sure)

Here's one I did, about an hour, Photoshop CS. I had the idea of someone taking a rest in the forest, maybe he's on a long journey? The darkness helps shroud my figure drawing skillz, he looks like he's wearing a kevlar top and his legs fade to nothing!

During painting this one I had few computer crashes. Not very good composition but I'm quite satisfied with the colours.
The soldier could look in different direction.

How do you guys draw something like that? I'm a quit well drawer with penicil and eraser.
Do you use a graphictablet? I just heard somethin about a wacoom graphic tablet or somethin like that - what is that?
