Since elsewhere in this forum P-Rik mentioned that he likes my pictures a lot more than the digitally altered ones, here's the link to my wallpaper page (4 pages, actually Razz) - hope you enjoy them, use them and share them, and that you'll feel free to comment Smile

The wallpapers are allright i think, but i really hate the site. It looks like one of those cheap pages that sell wallpapers, i think thats what turn people off. Sad

The pictures are nice, and of interesting places, and it's nice to fine reasonably large good photos for those who like a desktop variety. However, I do agree, the biggest turnoff is the site itself. It's not bad, it's rather navigatable, but it just feels a little bit canned.

You didn't ask for comments on the site though, so thank you for sharing the pictures Smile

I've been told it looks professional - maybe that's why it looks like i'm selling stuff Confused

Anyways, it's meant to look clear and easy to navigate, but I agree it does need work where it comes to "public attraction" Wink

Some of the photos are really nice but if you're into photography I really suggest getting a new camera Smile. It really doesn't capture the colors and detail and there doesn't seem to be any focus. If you want something to compare with I suggest this thread: http://forums.sijun.com/viewtopic.php?t=37848

And I agree with the others on the site. The buttons on the left look like generic Frontpage buttons and the font you're using.. Comic Sans is it? Comic Sans is a BIG no no in my book Wink

I suggest you start using CSS style-sheets for the style of the site. You can find inspiration here: http://www.csszengarden.com/

Click on the links to the right to select a new design.

I used Xara WebStyle for the menu. Works good enough, just need to buy it to have more options where Style is concerned Mad also I used a function for fading the buttons which only works in IE... think I'll have to change that, concidering the growing popularity of FireFox Rolling Eyes Wink

And a new camera.... well, the one I got is a Mavica, uses floppies, so quite limited, but I cannot afford to buy a new one, let alone the one I would like to own. Crying or Very sad

About the font... well, I might switch to another one, so if you got a suggestion...

Yeah, that one is really cool, it's one of my favourites too. Very Happy

Got a story connected to it. I saw this dragonfly in Taroko Gorge National Park in Taiwan, sitting on that wire sticking out of the wall. Thought it'd be a great picture, and took aim with my camera. Can you imagine my irritation when it flew away???? And my surprise when it came back after a flight fo about 30 meters and sat back at exactly the same spot???? Didn't hesitate there Wink
