It doesn't look like a paintinga anymore, eh? kinda flat and dead...
It's easier to make the bad values go away with all the textures on top 
can't show my stuff without all that cheating. it would look awful...

Time used went almost to 2h.
This was a test with custom grass brushes I quickly painted. |

It�s all about not shouting out form but whispering it, isn�t it? Not telling more than the viewer needs to understand the form. Building up form out of diffuse nebulars. I�m too occupied with style though. I have to find a way to incorporate these things into my own handwriting. That�s the toughest part.

| Decoy: Yep. The skin is also darker in value and the saturation pops it up a bit. Really hard to use color in that way and not over do it. It's inspiring to see these, thanx for posting! |

Still slapping colours around trying to get them to behave without ps tweaking.
(Yet hitting autocolour/autolevels, PS owns me every time ...)
I like the concept of speed painting, it's a perfect excuse to stop painting the
moment I'm clueless with what to do next. |
