your work reminds me of Alex Katz in a way, with its super straight forward recording of a scene without embelishments imposed by the artist. Lets the subject speak for itself. very nice work and excellent technical skill.

i love the amount of detail in the first one. The shading really does it for me... and i can see it on my small screen without scrolling down!
Out of curiousity, was the panoramic done in a vector based program? (and the obligatory ... how long did it take you? )

nope, all of my coloring work is done in Photoshop CS and each panoramic, depending on the detail, takes me about 3-5 days of 8-12 hours/day.
