Do you realize this is the "Gallery/Finished Work" section of the forum? Unless I'm blind, I don't see an image. Do you not think that "Digital Art Discussion" might have been the proper section to ask about tablets?
Not only that, but there are 48928487457837464673 threads dealing with tablets. The search function works wonders. |

i don't believe that's the way to behave. if the guy has made a mistake, let him go. don't crush him/her like that. if u cant/don't want to help someone, don't do wat u did. he/she obviously couldn't/didn't search, but u shouldn't bite his head off for that.

u should check out the site that Omi-kun pointed out. Most of us here have those tablets. and if they look too expensive on the site, u can always try out e-bay; search for 'pc tablet' 'wacom tablet' or something along those lines. |

KIMCHI, you little 'nucker you...
...why don't you log on to a forum that's in some dialect of Malaysian and try to figure out where to post.
What's that old Cherokee saying about walking a mile in his moccasins... |

As far as I'm aware the only company that makes tablets worth buying for serious art work is Wacom. The tablets come in three major brands, the graphire, which is an intructory model, and quite affordable, the Intuos line, which are the most popular, especially among Sijun users, and the Cintiq, which cost $1500 and up, and function as monitors you can draw on.
Most likely you will end up with a used Intuos2, or a new Intuos3. The differences between the two (if I can remember correctly) are double the pressure sensitivity, customziable buttons on the tablet itsef, a better mouse (I don't think many people actually use the mouse though). and a more ergonomic pen with tilt sensitivity. I've yet to use one myself, but the changes seem to be well recommended.
Finally, after settling on your model, you have to figure out the size issue. I would not recommend the 4 X 5 - the 6 X 8 and 9 X 12 are most common. The difference in size will cost you $120 or so.
So it's either a used Intuos2 9 X 12 or a new Intuos3 6 X 8, if you ask me. Try them both if you can to see which one you like more! |

Hello joshfong
I definitely go for Wacom
I've mine for about 10 years now, no problems yet.
But the pens were rather expensive.
