Noxi, I agree, Max's images really have the kind of vibrancy which seems to elude me!
Good stuff everyone, love the diversity.
Here's another one which I quite like, an hour and a half in Photoshop, but ended up a bit dark.

Really cool stuff everyone! I promise to post some more useful comments later, but it's 1:07 am, and I'm getting up at 6:30 for school. Bahah. Oh, thanks for pointing the stretched part annis, I like your later works a lot!

An insult to capes and beards (and art) alike.
Barely, barely ref'd from a Perov painting. |

jfb: wow, very nice!
noxi: Hey, thanks alot - I am glad you point out my colors since I am really working on using more and different colors.
My images normally tend to be very monotonous.
DARYL: thank you!
Speaky: I am really glad about that! Very intersting pic you have there. I love the mood.
Mitsui: Thanks buddy. Since I am a fan of your stuff it's even better getting such nice feedback from you!!
annisahmad: yay : ) Thanks!
P-Rik: Great!!
gizmodus: thanks alot!!
Thanks for all the great comments people. I really appreciate it.
This is really pushing me forward.
Can't thank you guys without posting a new pice. >

Trying to work on colours too. Only thing I really learned from this is I still don't like painter. The brush feel is just so... inaccurate for me somehow.
Here's another one:
trying to do low-key stuff with colour variations. Today has not been that great. |
