I'm currently using a HP 1220c Deskjet for printing. I love the results it gives being a deskjet and all, but lately I can't seem to keep it calibrated using Photoshop 7. One moment it'll print correctly, and the next moment it prints way off. The settings are exactly the same so I'm not sure what's going on here. I really wanted to figure this out on my own, but I'm running short on patience.
Any suggestions?
Thanks. |

It may just be a matter of pushing the paper while the printer pulls it in. I've tried it 2 times and that seems to correct the problem. Due to slight paper thickness, I'm thinking the printer is having trouble pulling the page completely in on it own.
So... Never Mind.... |

What do you mean 'calibrated'?
Color Management wise or something else?

The Preview window for my printer shows a top and side border of 1/2", but the actual printed page border is top 1/8" and sides 1/2". It's no matter though. I think I solved it. As I stated, the page was getting stuck and not properly positioned before printing. Gently pushing it as printing starts helps the printer position it correctly. |
