Sketch was about the size of a quarter sitting next to a dime.
No reference. Just an old memory from camping. 40 minutes worth of paint. The water was tough to figure out though.

Steps.

Also this is a realllly quick photoshop sketch. Messing around with palettes.

This thread is making me so happy right now.

haven't posted in forever..thought I'd put something up again...

this was a 2 hr session in open canvas and photoshop..quickie.. should've used more reference.

This thread is unbelievable ... especially the last 10 pages are the best i've ever seen in this thread - incredible output.
(espceially while in december there was very small output in here)

where do ya guys look when you run out of ideas on what to paint...? do u look for passages in books that trigger images? hm, i was curious because i've been running out of ideas... and i dont want to go with the 'random' shapes yet Razz.

watmough- what state do you reside in? i'm getting about 3 inches again tonight. sweet painting. Smile
