Okay, here's the deal. I'm currently designing the letters for a logo. I'm using both Illustrator and Photoshop. As long as I stay within Illustrator, I get crisp clean lines at all angles. If I bring the Illustrator linework into Photoshop, I get the nasty stepped pixels. I believe this has to do with Illustrator being a vector based program, but is there a way to import Illustrator linework into Photoshop and have it remain crisp?
Thanks... |

1200 DPI will keep ur lines crisp if its a mono logo
300 DPI is fine if its a coloured image
best way to make ur logo is to save as an eps and then open and rasterize to the size u require |
