HI, I don't know much about brushpens, I haven't used them before, but I am interested in trying them out. I just don't know where to start. If anybody knows of any brand that is good, please say. I don't know if there are different types of brushpens also, are they all just a fine-point that can create thin or thick lines? Or are there different shaped ones.

I have not used them either. I only know about them because i'm a Yoji Shinkawa fan and he uses these pens for his work. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't bother with a metallic pen. Here's a few to check out, depending on how much you want to spend and how serious you are about it:
