ozan, like the moody(but still full of different colors)colorpalette you choose everytime. Smile

Matthew, your last one with the ship is fantastic! Especially how you created the sail .. and the whole bunch of deep colors. Smile
You could sell this!

stephan, reminds me of your bear-rider - with excellent cutting! Smile
Only the elephant looks to young to me. Wink

And thanks for the Mullins! Needed this *aaah* .. well, feel way better now.

nothing spectacular ... .. .

Hi all! This in my first post here, I'm quite new with digital painting.
I did this with Photoshop in about 40 minutes with an old Wacom board, using the paintbrush and smudge-tools, from a photo reference.

I'm an industrial design student, hoping to learn how to illustrate my ideas..

Give me lots of comments, so I can improve! Thanks! Smile

BTW, hope the image wasn't too large.. ..sorry about that if it was..

cool, ...some of you guys were like "done in 10 minutes in art rage!!!" so i just thought it was some amazingly brutal form of speed painting. Surprised

watmough: Nice texture work in the first one. The second one's real cool as well!

trurl:That's a real cool clean style you have there. Is that photoshop?

I've been in too much of a funk to paint lately, but I've got to heap some more praise on Stephan's piece. Really nice work there, S. It drips with atmosphere.

looks like this thread is picking up speed again!

i found these intersting photos taken from a helicopter in vietnam. http://www.screamingeagle.org/photoshull.htm they have very strong abstract qualities so it was hard to turn it into a readable sp. -thanks for the comments guys.
