Just a thought, and I'm afraid that I'm not quite ready to add my own to this idea yet...

I was thinking that, as it is approaching the end of the year, we could all add in our favourite peices we have done over the year. It would be somewhat appropriate, dont you think, if we all added something that we were really proud of as a showcase, a christmas present to ourselves, if you will?

I'm finishing off my first ever work, and will add it onto here as soon as it is finalised, which should be later on taday. Perhaps we could also suggest our favourite peices from the past year or whatever; a retrospective look over the year. Maybe in a separate thread?

I realise that I'm a new member, and perhaps I have no right to be writing a thread such as this - feel free to tell me exactly where to go if you feel that this is the case.

Finally, I have a selfish note to add here - I'm new to all of this, and I would really like to see some people's favourite peices here, so that I can see what can really be achieved using a tablet/brush/pencil and a computer/canvas/sheet of scrap paper.

In closing, regardless of whether you post on this thread or tell me to get outta here, I would like to wish everyone a great christmas, and a phenomenal new year. I will be on here a lot in the coming year i hope, and I look forward to seeing all of your fantastic art (with more than a little envy thrown in for good measure!)
