cool, I like it... the colors and style is really nice..the jesus christ comic looks oddly funny... the dark atmosphere is good...
the tree looks nice...simple and contrast..
the woman is kinda disturbing, wohaa (mean in the good way:)
the rest is colorful and has nice details and textures..
deserves some more c&c

I like the simplicity of the tree. I don't like the drop shadow on the border and the font at the bottom though  Whether that's just me I'm not sure.
Very nice works though!

I like the way the text supports the first comic image although I believe all the text you placed on the other images is detracting from the mood.
The font sort of throws me off -- its almost as if you are trying to sell these to us, like a TV advertisement ( of course i dont think this is your intention).
Instead of just enjoying the images our eye is drawn to the text. Now we are forced to agree with your conclusion about the art instead of coming to our own.
There are many reasons not to have the text, but mostly I believe it directly contradicts the mood in these images. Advertising and atmospheric art pieces usually dont make good bedfellows.

I do also believe that text acts as a sort of safety barrier in digital art. It is easy to implement and it draws attention from what is more important. Maybe if someone were insecure about their art, they would consider adding text for this reason.

well
i hope i understood all the things [my english is not so good ]
however i think sometimes text can be usefull to the building of an image BUT you have to know how to put in... this is one thing in which i'm trying to get better...
i agree that sometimes "if someone were insecure about their art, they would consider adding text for this reason" [i hope it's not my case ]
