@watmough: great mood !
@Matthew: as I said in other thread, go ahead! uh, wait! Why in the Digital Discussion group? Put it in the Gallery/Finished Works (easier to browse along with speedys) or the Work in Progress.... _________________ "I'm not a shrimp, I'm a KING PRAWN !" -- Pepe.

Here are some models that I've simply roughed out in Z-brush, starting with Z-spheres and converting to an adaptive skin. After I find a concept that I like enough, I take it into the new version of Silo, and rebuild an animatable mesh out of it, then bring back into Z-brush for further developement, detail and texturing.
This first one is a Midnight Snack, this is what he's doing reaching into the fridge for a midnight snack.
This is a creature that is loosely based off of a design by Carlos Haunte.
This guy sells movie tickates and perhaps popcorn, but I've never actually witnissed the latter.

you've inspired me to paint her
arms are wrong and so is everything else, but it was an exercise in the economy of strokes, as ballistic put it so eloquently, even though I failed at that too ![Sad](images/smiles/icon_sad.gif) |

Matthew, awesome WC's!
allpetter, I think your lighting and ambience in the picture of the lady has improved a lot.
tallgeese, really good tones on the girl's face.
ax--hv, I hate you. That water is too awesome. I've watched your paintspamming lately, and while I've really enjoyed it, how do you keep up? Magic? I love to paint, but it drains me of energy so fast.
mitsui, you have this quality of overwhelming pictures with one hugely dominant hue range, and still make it look atmospheric and awesome.
Keep up the good work everyone! I'm going to Stockholm tomorrow, so I better hide away for the night. 1 am already. How time flies when you're having fun.
Value study, about 1.5 hours (from color ref).

Mon - great! nice to see you still painting aside from work. oh, and thanks for the comment on the bang bang pic, I saw it too late and didn't want to bounce the post all the way to the top again. (I always feel like an ass doing that)
Sparth - great stuff
spoogedemon - (on the helmet issue, wouldn't the sky be pink only if the sun was setting/rising? Then there probably wouldn't be that kind of blue patch.. heh, nah I dunno) I kinda figured it not to be the equation of your life, but thought I might as well mention it anyway. That way we all might get some interesting things along with the answer, as we did. (much enjoyed!) Sometimes the tree needs to be shaken for the fruit to fall I guess. Sometimes it has to be kicked. :)
Minimalist line splatter, it's what I like doing the best.. not very educating though, unfortunately.
If anyone wonders why she's not tipping over it's because she's a cyborg girl and weighs a ton (/various other stupid reasons).
