I wanted to find out what happens to the reflected light when you put a sphere on a surface of the complementary colour. It seems to bear out the "coloured light and surfaces mix subtractively like paint" that I read about in a Michael Wilcox book.

coming soon to the side of a chevy van near you
scallywag: that study of yours really captures the harshness of typical artificial indoor lighting. Reminds me of the lighting in my first crappy apartment, and it almost makes me squint and grimace just to look at it.
I'm trying to compliment you, but I'm not sure it reads as such _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

Anyone here into His Dark Materials? I will be working on that coming up. Any thoughts would be interesting to hear. |
Hey Spooge Demon (may I call you that?)...are you working on the film adaptations of that? I heard news of such a film, but didn't see any updates recently. My girlfriend is a huge fan of that series, and got me to start reading it too! |

So I splurged this one out tonight after not painting in a long time. I don't know what's up with pirates. I think I've been looking too much at Wyeth although this is no where in lightyears even close to wyeth.

SPOOGE :
So book publishers are happy with very loose sketches ? I did that too
and they wanted much more detail before they could approve wich one
to finalize.
after 4-6 months of audioproduction only, i fired up PS again
