Well, it's actually a few months old. I didn't put these on the website before because they didn't hit the mark I was shooting for. But looking at them now, they're not too bad for what they are, so I decided to put them up.

I like them a lot luna... 'tis a beautiful girl you've got yourself there... I suppose they could do with a bit more contrast? But I'm not sure that's what you're going for, but as I have no clue what a softbox is, I'll stick with that

I'm actually getting a camera in may (I've said this before but this time it's true!), a Minolta DiMAGE S404... so expect silly queries about photography tips

Are you what? A goat-raping loser? Yes, you are.

Flat, go the fuck away. I can't stand you, and I know I'm not alone in that. Someone gimmie his IP so I can take care of him myself.

Have you looked in the mirror lately? You have no right whatsoever to even "joke" about any other human-being's appearance. You're greasy and fat. You're face is plastered with zits. Your clothes look like they're the same ones you wore in the fourth grade. You quite obviously have no friends and no social life. You can't draw, and you aren't capable of formulating anything intelligent to offer these forums. Go away. Now.

Flat wouldn't make such comments if he wasn't so pent up with the sexual frustration of being gay and trying to hide it.

j/k

or am I? Muahahaa!

It's funny. Everyone hates him. But when he posts something he gets replies whereas a lot of people that are here for better reasons then annoying the shit out of everyone slide off the lists unnoticed.

Just ignore him and he will disappear soon enough.

I've been muttering to ignore various people all along. They usually get bored and go away, yet no one does. I wonder why...

I like your pictures Luna.
Specifically this one:

It reminds me of kissing somehow.
(Not that I want to kiss your girl of course. I am married and a decent young individual)

Do you do everything digital?

Have you ever tried manually developing negs and stuff? I love doing that. The weird things that happen can add so much life to a picture.
I should put some of my old b/w stuff online..

edraket- yeah, I do everything digital. I never did any traditional photography. I learned photography with a digital, and I think it probably sped up my learning process because how fast you can see the results and correct your lighting and camera setting.

Flat-- you are a pathetic loser and you know it, so fucking drop the act already. We ALL know what you are. You actually believe there's even ONE person at sijun who respects you or give a shit about what you have to say? Every little sad attempt you make just makes your failures and shortcomings that much more transparent. Go on and keep up your 12 year old antics. It makes good entertainment watching you dig your own hole.

Please wake up and realize that you are not even considered a worthy human being in our eyes. If you disappeared and never came back to sijun, no one would care.

I see what you mean. Sometimes the digital camera is a pain because it's so slow and and the quality is less. But it's fun to do photography with it because you can try out everything at no cost.
It makes you more conscious of the image you are making.

About the other thing. Just ignore him man. You are doing exactly what he wants you to do.

Looking good lunatique!

But IMHO that digital is light years behind the quality of traditional photography, yes, even those ridiculously expensive digital SLRs.

You have skills, you should really give traditional a try, you won't be dissapointed.

If you or someone else is interested, I study photography myself, and would like to share some pictures ans comments.

Ok bye

why is flat still here? what the hell is the deal.

flat - I understand the desperate, lonely psychology behind such acts fella, ,but this isn't your place to act like the schoolyard molester, little tough guy. I'm going to bitch out the mods right now and find out why in the hell you haven't been banned. and then I expect that you will be very shortly.

cheers

Bump- I would definitely try out film photography if I have the chance. But right now, I still have so much more to learn just about photography in general.

Shizo- Dude, I'm so jealous of the film photographers. I love the sound of the shutter! I wish digital camera's made that sound too.

Bump- actually, there are quite a few members here that posts photography periodically. There are times when random musings seemed more like a photography forum.

travis travis-Thanks for getting rid of that stain.

Lunatique,

"I love the sound of the shutter! I wish digital camera's made that sound too."

Why don't you get the best of both worlds and buy yourself a nice Digital SLR? They are a bit more expensive than the average point&shoot cams, but they're worth every penny. Professional photography is as much about the lenses you've got as it is about the body you use (if not more). The cool thing about DSLR's is that whenever your prefered camera manufacturer (be it Nikon, Canon, Sigma etc.) releases a new body with x more megapixels, you have the flexibility to only exchange the body for the new one while keeping your lens collection.
I just ordered Canon's new EOS D-60 with a 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens and a Sigma 50-500mm f.4.0-6.3 EX APO HSM Telephoto lens.. can't wait to start shooting with it.

I wouldnt buy a really good digi camera if i were you cause 1. they get better and cheaper so its better to wait, 2. you dont work! HAHA :D

Danny-- Oh man, I've been drooling after digital sLR's since the first rumors appeared about the D-30 for Cannon. I just really can't justify buying a pro digital until I have better overall studio setup. If I'm getting a pro camera, I better make damn sure I'm shooting pro quality.

Shizo- man, you make me sound like a bum or something. I'm gearing up for a step up in my career, bro! When I'm done with my sabbatical, I should end up with an even better job than I did before I started the sabbatical.
