Well, I'm tired of scratching out doodles the old school way with a sheet of paper, and I'm now looking to acquire a graphics tablet. Since I don't know a damn thing about them, I figured I'd inquire here. If any of you wouldn't mind expending a little assistance on my behalf, I'd be infinitely grateful.
I'm looking for a tablet around a 175-250 dollar price range. I don't plan on doing any serious professional work on it, merely practicing and doodling. I'm not going to specify anything more than that, seeing as how I'd think you guys would know best about brands, sizes, features and whatnot. Thanks ahead of time.

The Search feature is a wonderful invention. You'll find pages of threads using the keywords "Wacom tablet" and searching in the Digital Art Discussion forum.
This question has been asked over and over and you'll find more than enough information reading those threads.
Wacom is the brand to buy. It's the best, so don't waste your money on any other tablet brand.
