Awesome pictures - thanks for the link! Cheney, that first fav of yours is many pictures in one.

I think it is actually more of a panoramic.

Ummm, cheney, that's what a "panoramic" is. Many pictures "stitched" into one... Rolling Eyes

No, Cheney - I didn't mean a collage of photos montaged together. I meant that if you were to cut a square or rectangle out of a piece of cardboard thus creating a frame, you could hold it up in different areas of the panarama to create quite a few different compositions.

Make sense?

Hey everyone -

I found this discussion by looking through my referrer logs - I'm glad you're finding the work interesting. Smile

Odds - you mentioned you're going to 'paint' one? I'd love to see anything that gets done with these - I'm completely curious as to what others can do with them!

Hi Kendall and welcome to Sijun! Your work is tremendous! Can you tell what type of equipment you're using?

Hope you're not too disappointed to find out what it is, but here goes... I'm simply using a Canon G2 (digital) prosumer camera. The architectural shots are on a tripod virtually 100% of the time, and I tend to use a small aperture to get good clarity and depth of field. I'd be shooting with an SLR if I had the money for it but all things considered, I'm quite happy with the G2 for what it is.

I'm just an amateur fooling around with this stuff pretending I know what to do with a camera. Smile

Thanks Kendall! You know, there's an old saying "a race car, no matter how tricked out, is only as good as the driver driving it". You've done some very nice things there with your Canon camera. Good on you.
