I watched the trailer for the new Bards Tale game and there was this incredible bagpipe music in it. Thankfully they had the link of the composer guy in the end.

So go and download the samples on his site! Imo it�s great how he combines the bagpipes with modern stuff.

bagpipes = worst instrument ever

No offense if you play the bagpipes but I bloody hate that sound!, there is a guy who busks here in Belfast sometimes with the bagpipes and as i pass him i always feel ive been magically transported to hell Smile

Well I don�t play any instruments myself, I just happen to love the sound of the worst instrument ever Wink

Maybe it�ll help you to punch him in the bag next time you pass him or something like that ;P

That's not bad at all. Kind of gets your toes tappin'.
But, I can take 'em or leave 'em, with two exceptions...

Scotland the Brave and Amazing Grace
just wouldn't be the same without that
one low lone piper.

The music is nice, but I have to agree that bagpipe isn't the most pleasant instrument. For example, if you substitute the bagpipe tracks with another instrument, like violin for example, most people would prefer the violin version.

Mike Oldfield did some funny stuff in that genre on 'take 4' I think .. Portsmouth or 'Sailor's Hornpipe'...
