Ok I am Awetopsy, Just for Clarity sake. Sorry for registering a new account but I didnt know what else to do. Here's my problem. I was in "My Profile" as Awetopsy and I changed my email address to reflect my more current addy, well when I clicked "update my profile" it logged me out. When I tried to log back in, It told me my Password was incorrect. I didnt touch the password setting in my profile. I then thought Id get it to send me my log in information so I entered the email address and it said it sent the login info, but the email never arrived in my email.. I did this twice and still nothing.
Is there anything that can be done? |

| No. Sometimes it takes a while for servers to send out e-mails, especially forum servers. |

When you make any changes to your email, it automatically issues a new password.
I had to create a new identity and start over. It happened again about a month ago when I wanted to change my email to [email protected] but instead I changed it to [email protected]
Fortunately I was able to create a new email address ([email protected]) and request my login info be sent.
After I accessed my profile, fixed the error and got rid of the stupid email address.
Look up one of your messages that you posted under you regular name and check the profile for the email address.
Chances are it's incorrect.

Sorry Awetopsy, as Dr.Bang said Dhabih is the only on with access to the passwords...
Im not sure what you can do, other than wait until Dhabih comes back on the scene.

Awetopsy, something you might want to try doing is logging into your e-mail server with the login: noelnissen instead of (ie. awetopsy) because sometimes the e-mail will end up in the root account on the server instead of your personal account.
Did that make sense? Like.. if I register stupidforum.com and create a [email protected] mail account, the mail might be rerouted to [email protected] on occasion. Check it out, see if that works.. |
