Hello,

Here is my first post on Sijun

Harry Potter 2020 illustration is a cyberpunk impression about well knowned Harry . I imagined how Potter (and his friends) will look in much darker times, in a cyberpunk future. In fact I have a feeling Harry saga is getting darker and darker with each year...and here is my vision about the cyber trio- standing by defeated Voldemort.

Iam not a Harry Potter fan - I just had this vision.

I imagined the scene in some king of Voldemort's underground tomb - dark and gloomy. The Characters ment to be twisted in a cyberpunk manner. I even created some stories sbout them, but it's not a place for it ... I hope the illustration tells a tale. Artwork was painted with Photoshop.

I will appreciate all comments. I'am curious if the atmosphere is not too grim?

It's not too grim, really, the girl esp. gives it a more 'comic book' style i.e. super hero. You did a good job with the likeness of the faces, only the leftmost guy (red hair guy?) I dont recognise as easily as the other two.

One problem would be the red hair guy seems to be looking down while the other two seem to be looking towards the viewer. For the metallic parts you might want to use less 'diffusion' on the edges and sharper light/shadow transitions, for a little shiny effect.

I like Harry's coat, looks like some fur or velvet coat like they wear in old paintings of the rich/bourgeois. Thinking of it generally I'd say since the picture is going towards realism rendering the only thing missing isa bit of 'texture' such as the metallic parts, the reptile skin (a little shiny probably), etc, as long as it stays in the focus points and in the light so as not to kill the depth. This is just more or less what I read recently in Loomis's creative illustration..

Keep it up, gread idea and well put together.

edit: ps: theres a yellow light or something at the end of the gun to the left, near the ammo belt which I think sticks out too much if you squint the eyes.

Ron's left (his left) leg looks really broken as it is now. Harry's sword is way too thick to slice anything at the moment (this is most likely caused by the line of the hilt). Oh and isn't Voldemort just a guy, and the serpent one of his creations? That's just a trivial thing though . Other than that, very nice work

Nice haircut for Ron, I could almost see this happening, say if they hung out together in some violent industrial city streets in an 80's-esque motorcyle gang. Like the punky teenage foot-soldier recruits partying and skateboarding underground in the TMNT movies. Where the hell is my mind taking this?? I just wanted to comment on Ron's hair.....

Thank You all for Your precious comments I ll try to focus even more on the textures next time - I know they could be better... end lately I have some cyberpunk visions, so I guess ... more futuristic teenage gangs will be posted by me
