wanted to paint something like this. got a reference picture from sxc.hu and i printed it out and kept referring to it while i painted it in photoshop.

The painting looks better than the ref... pushing toward the red really worked for you.
Only crit is that some of the clouds seem a little hard-edged, but that's minor.

it does look better than the ref, agreed
to fix the cloud issue just put some of the color in the bg into em... it'll make them look less opaque |

thanks odds. this was done before my last computer crash. notice i said last. lol. i get one once every month. or something gets in. anyway, thanks. clouds r so hard to paint... |
