Hey folks!

This one was a piece of work, heh, but loads of fun to create. Spooge, I couldn't have even thought this to be possible without your inspiration over the years. Thank you for that. I'm hoping to get more matte's done soon. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this one! Comments are most appreciated.

Thanks!

- Jensen

/Edit - Replaced 1600 wide version with smaller one Smile

You are doing a great job with the matte painting. Though it doesn't seem to be look real or vice versa.(I dont know if you were trying to achieve that...)

this is really a fantasy. i love it. i love the fantasy feel to it. the pink clouds. the misty landscape to the left. the lovely rocky and rapid crawl to the castle. the water. everything is just great. the mountains on the far back right may look a tiny bit unrealistic compared to the rest of the image but this is still beautiful work!

Is this being used for print? I could seriously imagine this hanging as a gigantic poster in my room. I love the composition.

Heh, Japong! That would be fun to print this out big. Original res is 6000 px wide, so it could prolly get to a nice size, but no, the intention was not for print, just for practice and fun, heh.

I can't help but inject some fantasy, and grandness into this work. Painting extensions that could exist in real life is something to have a go at, but for this one, the goal was something that could possibly exist in a world on screen. Something more fantastic.

And yes, I agree the back right mountains are a bit more rough. That spot was a tough one, but I had to let it go. So my excuse will be I was trying to keep the focus on the foreground elements Smile

Thanks for the comments!

Fabulous! The perspective on the castle looks a little wonky... but I like it like that. Smile

Really a piece of work... Great job!
