I got so inspired by spooges piece that I had to do something similar, hope it is ok spooge.
last one for today, now back to my own scribbles and that angel piece.

question: how do you paint realistically highlights? technically is a highlight always the highest value in the image ? or does it appear so or is made to appear so by using contrast ?

Hey everyone!
Please note that I didn't come up with this character, I just merely painted a copy to work on understanding the colors and style that was originally created by Oddworld for their new game, Stranger. Thought you might enjoy it.
Good to be back too! It's been tooo long, heh. I'm so glad to see the improvements that's happening in this place. Keep it up!

here's another runner, came up with the coolest idea of these characters. hmm maybe I am the only one thinking it is cool. Anyway, they are some sort of a hybrid between a postman and a warrior but they are running and they help people out and or are leaving a message. Maybe something for me comic, feel free to scribble on the same theme guys if you have some ideas.
Getting late here and I have to draw something with pencil version 1 before bed, last one for today, see you.
