*THIS IS NOT AN ILLUSTRATION POSITION - GRAPHIC DESIGNERS WANTED*

Hey guys,

The 3d mobile game company I work for, Superscape, is going to need a new 2d artist responsible for creating game user interfaces and heads up displays on the pixel level as well as have the ability to design marketing material for print and web and create original logos. So basically I'm looking for a graphic designer who can also design at really small sizes where every pixel counts. Here's a link to the career section http://www.superscape.com/about_superscape/careers/ of our company webpage where you can read about the benefits we offer. This job would be on location in San Clemente, California. That's about half way between San Diego and Los Angeles.

We specialize in 3d games for mobile phones. Here's a preview of one of our upcoming games: http://www.gamespot.com/mobile/rpg/kingdomhearts/preview_6109704.html Be sure to check out the movies for it too.

Like I said earlier a big part of your job would be to create interfaces like the ones I've created below:

http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/showpic.php?img=/imgs/pics/reviews/34140157.jpg

Drawing skills for things like storyboards on top of the design skills (not in place of) are a bonus.

If you are interested please contact us at [email protected] with 2d artist in the subject line. Send samples or links to samples of your work as well as a resume.

3D games for...what? I mean, sorry to jack your post without applying for the job, but, WOW! I had no idea telephones could do that. Those graphics are on phones? Man, I'm so behind the times!

I believe you'd have more succes on www.polycount.com, a community of game-art designers.
The forums are down, where this sort of thing is usually done, but if you send an email to rogue13, he'll add it to the news, and you're sure to get alot more replies there than just 1 from a crazy rat-woman, heh.

Don't listen to the mean people Socar, I love your rats and always have. Crazy what cells phones can do now huh?

Thanks for the concern guys but I've got this posted in more responsive places. Didn't want to exclude Sijun, you never know who's looking.

It was definately a joke, i loves me my ratty. or something.

Anyway, should you still read this, hethebar: The Polycount forums are up again, albeit temporarily, at http://boards.polycount.net .
Personally, i'd like to see this go to one of them, so if the position hasn't been filled yet, i'm sure you'll find your guy there.
