Hi guys,
A very nice community you have here and some serious talent!
I'm project lead at Project Hull Breach, a Science Fiction
based total conversionfor the soon to be released Halflife 2 engine.
We're looking to expand our concept artist team and start work in
various areas, primarily environmental / architectural work based
on set scenarios. Our art team is led by the highly talented Kai Lim
(UkiTakuMuki - hi man!). Here's a small select slice of the artwork
produced as well as some progression demo's. Enjoy the artwork and let
me know if you interested in helping out!
Our trade mark logo
An early mood setter
Another mood setter
A piece based on a developed vehicle - the mobile weapons platform
Artists impression of one of the many scenarios
Another artists impression of one of the many scenarios
Ship development melded with Scenario ideas
Environmental development - Deralict Space Port Scene
Environmental development - An outpost
Environmental development - Terraforming
Early character developments
1 of 6 final Pre-3D Character sheets
Facial development 1/3
Facial development 2/3
Face mapped onto final 3D Marine model
The Converted Mining Rig - now a weapon of war.
An attempt at developing our minority style Covert Recon Bots that will be controlled by the players to spy on the enemy and more.
Another version of the Covert Recon bot
At the moment I'm aiming to boost our environmental work,
this would cover a lot of areas from inside ships (corridors, control
rooms, terminals, furniture, etc) to a variety of planet based architecture
(buildings, internals and exteriors, alien plantlife etc). There is of course
more character and weapons development needed if that sounds more
interesting and we have yet to concieve a final Covert Recon Bot. If you'd
like to participate within the project in a minor way or even dive in head
first into the project then I'd be happy to hear from you.
Kindest regards
Julian Young

hey man thats beautiful! you have a style that feels like a mix between HPX, sparth, and someone else, spooge maybe, but i love the logical suits and vehicles, they really look like they could work! i dig the black suite alot
the face texture for the 3D character is really nice but i bet it would look a bit better if u pumped up the saturisation on his face to get the feel of live skin and fake translucency, now he looks kinda ill or dead, but dont get me wrong, looks hella good as it is!
looking forward to more posts!
