OW.
That has to be a show bike only.
You could only forget youself and crack
the throttle wide open ONCE.
The torque would flip you over and crush
you under three quarters of a ton of
real snazzy chrome and steel.
And WHO in their right mind would sell
you insurance for it?
I'd like to have all the gold it will win at
car and hot rod shows though. |

Doubtful - I'm certain the engineers and desingers accounted for that. _________________ - Tom Carter

FACT: Dodge's design feedback focus group consists entirely of 7-year-old boys. _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

Extreme G was one of my favorite racing games of all time, so the closer we get to futuristic high-speed death races on vertical race courses, the better.
Of course, with this motorcycle being a Dodge, and this Dodge being a motorcycle, one can only anticipate three solid weeks of satisfying achievement followed by inexplicably frequent repairs and longing stares at those kids with reliable Japanese bikes. At least it will look cool parked in your driveway, and it better, because that's where it'll be spending most of its time. _________________ QED, sort of. |

Really?
Where? I don't see any outriggers or giant gyroscopes,
other than those massive dual wheels.
But you'd have to be moving at a good clip before they
generated any stabilizing gyroscopic properties sufficient
to overcome the torque of that V10 if it were revved up.
Putting along in downtown traffic wouldn't create much.

??? I'm not sure what you even mean.
Torque isn't 'applied' to vehicles.
It's a property of a rotating mass around an axis.
If you go out and start you family's car and open the bonnet (hood)
and have someone in the car spike the accelerator,
you'll see the engine torque when it jumps and tries to twist in
the opposite direction the crankshaft is turning.
If it didn't have mounting points a 650 lbs. V8 whould flip right over.
Adding a hundred and fifty pound rider to the bike won't stop
the torque that huge V10 produces.
Saying that big honkin' Dodge doesn't develop torque is just absurd.
And... before anyone goes off making up their own version.
of what I said; It was... You could only forget your self once and crack the
throttle wide open.
I'm quite CERTAIN it could actually be ridden if you feathered the
throttle and were mindful of how fast and stable the bike was
before you really punched it. In fact I'd like to ride it. But not after
I'd knocked back a six-pack. |

i was using "applied" cause i didnt know what else to use
i know with prop planes, if they didnt have wings they would spin like a top; same with choppers, except if they didnt have a tail rotor in their case
i was thinking about torque from spinning wheels for some reason _________________ 赤竜 |

Here's a drag bike my dad has been fabricating for about 10 years, much to the dismay of my mom:
A triumph of function over form. FJ-1100 engine, front fork off a Ninja, and the rest is completely custom. No speedometer, just a tach
I think that rear slick is 17"-wide. _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

Kewl...
What class will it run in?
He should paint it her favorite
color and put some nice signage
on the big panels that names it
after her. She'll like it then.
I don't know if I'd want to run
through the traps at 130 mph
or so, setting on a seat that's
been braised with soft bronze rod,
instead of welded, though. |

I'm pretty sure a lot of the welds are justed tacked for the time being.
He expects it to run high 10s or low 11s. _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |
