Wow, what a great forum! Im delighted to have found this place. The speedpainting thread, in fact, has inspired me to get to work and start painting like mad again thank you! and now Im interested in getting feedback. Theres just one problem: I prefer to work in acrylics. I do have access to a scanner, but I would feel a bit silly asking about pigments and illustration board and gummed-up paintbrushes in this wonderfully digital environment. I was wondering, can anyone here recommend a similar forum that deals with good old-fashioned gooey materials?
Thank you! |

Hi there.
I've heard good things about the community at "Wet Canvas" forums. ( http://www.wetcanvas.com/ ) and I think you'd get a good response or at least be able to find alot of info there. But alot of the pros here dabble with acrylic from time to time, though most do some extra work-overs in either Painter or Photoshop.
There's even a specific Acrylics sub-forum:

Hope this helps! |
