Hey everyone. Here is my latest piece, I'm really proud of this one.
Took about 4 days on & off. Acrylics on canvas, 12 +16
It's a character I came up with for a story idea.I still have to fix a few minor things.
I had to join the pic in PS, You can see the seam a bit, I'm going to have to scan it at Kinkos. They have huge scanners.
C & C welcome
Cheers

not bad. I dont get why his pointy finger isnt on the trigger though. and his left hand looks rather flat or boxy.. otherwise, nice stuff. |

This is pretty nice for, a acrylic painting, nice use of colours. But just one thing, is that hand holding up the gun. Not the trigger hand but the other one, is all messed up. And looks sharp and flat.
Overall nice work. _________________ When you look at a blank canvas or drawing paper, it stares you in the eyes and thinks it can beat you.~ Justin Beckett |

DARYL-thanks dude, his finger isn't on the trigger because i wanted to have the look as if his not ready to shoot yet. It's how you hold a gun safely.
math- thanks for the crit.
Greensun- thanks. Greatly appreciated.
Warhead82-thanks, i was thinking about changing the hand. |

I like it alot.
personal crits are this:
The gun strikes me as a bit odd only because it seems just a couple hairs too long...
also the muscles on his forarm...probably could do without that detail coming across as hard. other than that...personally pseaking...
i like it.

Hes "indexing" his gun. Its when you keep your finger straight, but along the side of the trigger. Its what police officers do. |
