im talking about painting it in detail...most of the paintings ive seen dont have a definitive leaf shape; its just dots made from different shades of green

i think seth just meant not to use a brush shape that was literally the one he was trying to paint. for example now all the leaves are exactly similar in shape and don't necessarily always follow the direction of the branches they're sitting on. i'd say it was a pretty good job anyway n i think a lot of people wouldn't notice.. but its the lil stuff that really makes sometihn great Smile

well, after a few hours painting (i think it was, even in photoshop), i really wanted to use an easy way to deal with the leaves....
then i used the coustom brush...then blur, "humm..looks ok." i said to myself.

however, i really thought to paint these leaves on my own, but...hundreds of leaves, it's terrible...

or you can say:" just paint some different types of leaves, and copy and paste." but i think its same as what i do now.

could you guys tell me if there is a easy and wonderful method to creat leaves (or other things which has vast and different singles), and make them look like real in photoshop?
