hm a reference might help just so you can see how light should fall on the planes of the face.. also, check proportions... eyes go in the middle of the head (or thereabouts), usually one eye length apart eachother, and the mouth could move up a bit.. |

Yeah, consider drawing the linework a little more carefully before you begin rendering. You'll have lots of trouble defining the form with value if your guidelines (the outline forms) are undeveloped. |
