It's 12:13. You have a serious case of the munchies and a pantry full of snacks. What would you go for?

I'm partial to a peanut butter sandwich (no jelly) and a glass of cold milk, followed closely by an ice cream sandwich, or a bowl of cereal.

These are played out, passe, old news, though. Post some of your preferred snacks, so that we may battle them Thunderdome style in a great match of deliciousness and hunger satisfaction.

Favorite late night, working in the graphics salt mines, snack eh?

My favorites are leftover sauerbraten, cucumbers that have been setting in vinegar dressing since dinner, or left over spaghetti with the sauce mixed in.

The best thing in a box are ginger snaps that are real hard.

If you let them set in your mouth and soak there's a moment where the snap transitions from, hard as a rock to chewy.

That's good.

Also good sometimes is a big glass of graham crackers that are crumbled and smooshed into the glass with milk poured over the top 'till they're good and soggy.

Washed down with a giant glass of ice cold pure Lake Chelan water.

Bowl of cereal. usually something like Post Selects: Great Grains. That shit is the bomb-diggity.

Grilled Cheese on sourdough. The cheese and butter make the bread sweet. mmm...

Hotdog: Hebrew National All-Beef Dinner Franks + Tilamook special reserve extra sharp cheddar + a nice big potatoe bread bun = LOVE.

hmm, looking around...I like nutty bars. I also have a big tub of double bubble gum, dont know if that counts as a snack, but at the rate i go through the stuff it should count as something.
stacy-you seem to be into the soggy stuff, I highly recommend putting teddy grahams in a bowl and preparing them like cerial, but let them get soggy for a moment, especially the chocolate ones. deliciouse.

This is kind of a fun thread Impaler.

"What artists do when they have the munchies."

After it's gone on awhile, and there is a good sized grouping of lots of different things, someone should make a list of everything and we can all vote on our favorites. Like the top three or top five or something.

But not yet. Let the thread really load up first.

Peanut butter sandwich with cheddar cheese rice cakes, a chocolate chip cookie (or 2) all washed back with a caffiene free Coca Cola . . . or kiwi strawberry juice.

WASABI PEAS!!!!! Very Happy

A little spice to wake you up.

I used to love Cheez-Its, but after my niece puked from eating a whole box and I had the dumb luck to smell it, they kinda lost their appeal.

Oh yeah, munching on sheets of roasted Nori (seaweed) is also pretty tasty, as is a midnight Ramen.

I used to do grilled cheese sandwich, or bowl of ice cream, or pumpkin pie, or bowl of cereal (anything sweet), but let me tell you, once you hit your 30's you better lay off on that kind of late night snacking. All that extra calorie goes right to where it shouldn't.

I literally keep no food in my apartment, so all-nighters at home doing freelance usually involve some form of Dunkin' Donut and/or giant sugary iced coffee.

When I was pulling 20-hour-days at the studio for a while back in May, key lime pie from the hippie restaurant next door made 3am slightly more bearable.

Hmm let's see...
What did I have last night...
Ah yes bourbon biscuits (that would be like a chocolate cookie - it's a British biscuit) with hot salsa dip MMMmmmm!

Chocolate and chilli is a good combo!
