Looks like a great first stage. You have the anatomy down quite well, the only thing I'm worried about is how skinny the upper arm is getting as it leads down to the lower fore-arm.

yea I think i see what you are saying thanks for the input! Smile I am not sure what she is going to be falling from but that will come in a bit.

here is an update:



I think i need help with this...
I don't know how to go about coloring.
Do I do shadow first? I am just so rusty I don't know what to do
and I am just getting fed up...

Could someone hook me up with some tips on coloring and shading? I am having some trouble with it.

hm there was a great post by ron lemen i think... it's been linked to so many times and referenced i can't believe i don't have it, but you might find it searching these forums... try rendering the figure in one color (or no color at all) first.. consider your light source and the angle of the planes in relation to it... and limiting your values at first might make it easier to break down shapes. after that, colors are icing on the cake... usually warm/cool or cool/warm light/shadows..

not too much help but i tried Rolling Eyes
